PNE Group’s Sevivon Receives the Green Phoenix Award
Sevivon, PNE AG Polish subsidiary, was honored with the Green Phoenix Award, accolade recognizing individuals and organizations that have made exceptional contributions to the advancement of renewable energy in the West Pomerania region of Poland.
The company was recognized for its significant achievements in deploying renewable energy solutions and technologies throughout West Pomerania, encompassing both its successful wind farm developments and the groundbreaking Pomeranian Green Hydrogen Cluster project.
With over two decades of experience in the Polish market, including more than 15 years operating as Sevivon, the company has located a substantial portion of its projects (nearly 100 turbines) in the region.
Since 2024, Sevivon together with PNE, GASCADE, and GAZ-SYSTEM has spearheaded the development of the Pomeranian Green Hydrogen Cluster, leveraging the province's unique advantages: the synergistic combination of abundant wind resources and ample sunshine, coupled with its strategic proximity to emerging and planned European hydrogen infrastructure. The cluster will harness over 2 GW of renewable energy to power 1 GW of renewable hydrogen production facilities.
It is worth noting that GASCADE is commissioning the first sections of the hydrogen pipeline as part of the “Flow - making hydrogen happen” project. In a few years, the Pomeranian Green Hydrogen Cluster will be connected to this project. The hydrogen network in this part of Europe is taking real shape.
Holger Gallas, CEO of Sevivon, accepted the award on behalf of the entire company. In his acceptance speech, he emphasized that West Pomerania's success as a leader in renewable energy is not solely attributable to favorable natural conditions, but also to the proactive and supportive approach of local authorities at all levels, fostering an environment conducive to such investments.
The 2025 Green Phoenix Awards marked the sixth edition of this distinguished regional competition.
