PNE Polska named Company of the Year by the Polish Wind Energy Association
During the annual conference of the Polish Wind Energy Association, representatives of PNE Polska received the Company of the Year award.
In awarding the Company of the Year title, PWEA recognized PNE Polska's achievements to date in the implementation of wind projects (139 turbines with a total installed capacity of nearly 400 MW). The association also emphasized the importance that PNE Polska, one of the leaders in the renewable energy development sector, attaches to implementing best practices in its relations with stakeholders.
The company's ambitious plans were also noted: PNE Polska intends to develop wind projects with a total capacity of 2.1 GW and photovoltaic projects with a capacity of 800 MW by 2030. It is also developing the Pomeranian Green Hydrogen Cluster project. As part of this project, implemented in partnership with Polish and German gas system operators, wind and photovoltaic farms with a total capacity of 2 GW will be built in north-western Poland to power electrolysis installations. The renewable hydrogen produced there will be fed into the emerging European H2 transmission network.
“As PNE Polska, we started operating on Friday, and on Tuesday we already received our first award,” joked Holger Gallas, president of PNE Polska, as he accepted the trophy. The company, which has been active in Poland since 2008 under the Sevivon brand, belongs to the global PNE group and as of June 2025 is now operating under a new brand name, PNE Polska.
