Sevivon at the 4th Future Energy Congress in Toruń
On May 6-7, 2025, the 4th Future Energy Congress was held in Toruń, an event that has become a permanent fixture in the calendar of the most important debates on the transformation of the energy sector in Poland. This year's edition was held under the slogan “Stability and Flexibility,” and its main theme was the future of the national power system in the face of transformation.
During the panel discussion “Stability and flexibility – the future of the power system,” which was attended by representatives of power system operators, regulators, and the renewable energy sector, Łukasz Łuczak from Sevivon took the floor. The expert pointed out that a key solution for unlocking the investment potential of renewable energy sources in Poland could be the implementation of flexible connection agreements. Another important proposal made by Sevivon at the Toruń conference was to increase the level of digitization and standardization of the connection process.
Magdalena Klera-Nowopolska from Sevivon spoke in the debate on regulatory dialogue and the quality of legislation in the energy sector. She pointed to the excessive instability of legal regulations, which, in her opinion, is one of the main barriers to the development of renewable energy investments in Poland. In addition, overregulation of the sector and frequent changes in the law not only complicate the implementation of projects, but also undermine public confidence in the energy transition process. The expert emphasized the importance of dialogue with local communities and local governments, not only as an investor's obligation, but also as a strategic element in building sustainable, socially acceptable projects.
Sevivon had the honor of being a Diamond Partner at the 4th Energy of the Future Congress in Toruń.
